In the past, "Senior Assassin" or "Water Wars" games have used various different methods to eliminate a target. Anything from water balloons, water bottles, sharpies on the back of the hand, and most commonly, water guns.
While Splashin will work with any of these methods, we do have some guidelines to ensure that everyone in your game stays safe and has fun.
First, all players must be aware of their surroundings, and how their actions may be perceived by others. For example, players are not allowed to use disguises or behave in a way that may appear threatening to others. Players must have permission to enter private property.
Over the past few years, we have seen many new water guns manufactured. Many of these water guns are designed to look like real guns, which can cause tragic confusion if members of the public or law enforcement mistake them for real guns.
This is why it is very important, if your game decides to play with water guns, to choose a water gun that is brightly colored and does not resemble a real gun in its shape or color (neon colors are best).
In addition, we have created a list of items that are not allowed in Splashin games. If you are found to be using any of these items, you and your entire game may be banned from Splashin.
If you have concerns about the safety of a game being played in your area, we strongly encourage you to first notify the appropriate authorities to ensure the safety of everyone involved. While Splashin is a popular platform for organizing "Senior Assassin" games, many games are independently run and not affiliated with Splashin.
If the game is being played on Splashin, please contact us via email with details, including the game name, school, and game code if available. We will review the situation and take appropriate action, including removing participants and games from our platform if necessary.
